Retail Giant X5 Plans to Acquire Alcoholic Beverage Distributor ‘Region 50’
One of the largest retail chains in Russia, X5, is reportedly preparing to purchase alcohol distributor ‘Region 50’. According to experts, the value of this potential deal could range from 600 million to 1 billion rubles.
As reported by ‘Kommersant’, the company may integrate the distributor with its ‘Oktiy’ retail network. X5 might be primarily interested in acquiring the distributor as a ready logistics infrastructure that can also serve other purposes beyond alcohol distribution.
